Forgotten Child?

The article on Business 2.0 reads "Steve Jobs' Forgotten Child: Apple TV". The author, Philip Elmer-Dewitt, cited the figures from Apple's earnings report yesterday. He guessed that Apple has only sold about 206,000 Apple TV's in Q3 of 2007 and that much attention has been given to the iPhone instead.

Say it isn't so, Steve.  Say it isn't so.

He's actually said as much himself, alluding the legs of the chair that support apple:

leg 1 is Mac and Mac OS

leg 2 is iPod and the iTMS

leg 3 is iPhone

Steve has said that the TV thing may one day be a fourth leg, but for now it's more of a side-project/experiment
